NYSC 2023 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Orientation Course: Key Dates And Information

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the schedule for the 2023 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Orientation Course. This orientation serves as an introduction to the NYSC program is aimed at preparing prospective corps members for their year of service to Nigeria.

The NYSC orientation course is an essential part of the one-year compulsory national service for Nigerian graduates. It offers an opportunity for young Nigerians to learn about the country’s diverse culture, develop essential life skills, and foster unity among the different ethnic groups in the country.

The orientation course is ever set to commence on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023, with registration taking place on the same day. Prospective corps members are encouraged to register as soon as possible, as the cut-off date for registration is midnight on Thursday, April 27th, 2023. The swearing-in ceremony will be held on Friday, April 28th, 2023, followed by the closing ceremony on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023.

However, for prospective corps members in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Lagos State, the orientation course will take place on a slightly different schedule. The course will commence on Wednesday, May 31st, 2023, and end on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023.
