JAMB Reschedules UTME for Candidates

Candidates who were unable to take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) due to technical issues will have their test rescheduled by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). The announcement was made in a statement by JAMB’s Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr. Fabian Benjamin. The Board has assured candidates that they will have a new examination notification to print, showing their new scheduled sessions, which will be available early Wednesday. Approximately 100 centres out of the 708 centres participating in the 2023 UTME exercise experienced technical challenges. The Board reiterated its commitment to delivering high-quality assessments, apologizing for any inconvenience experienced by candidates and their parents. JAMB explained that its technical team is working hard to ensure that the Wednesday exam is free of any hitches. In the event of any challenges, the Board assures Nigerians that candidates will be given the opportunity to take the test on another available date and space.
