OAU Applications for the Diploma in Local Government & Development Studies for the 2022/2023 Academic Session
Upon successful completion of the program with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 and above, candidates qualify for Direct Entry (DE) admission into 200-level B.Sc. degree programs in various departments at OAU, including Local Government and Development Studies, Public Administration, Political Science, and the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Development Studies.
To apply, candidates need to download the application form from the OAU e-portal (https://eportal.oauife.edu.ng) and fill it out accordingly.
The application fee is $10,000, and it can be paid through Remita (https://remita.net) by selecting “Bill & Purchase” and typing “Obafemi Awolowo University” as the payee. In the “Name of service/purpose” section, choose “Local Government Form & Fees” and enter “1000072192” as the GIFMIS Code.
After making the payment, applicants should send the RRR printout from Remita, along with scanned copies of supporting certificates and the filled application form, to diplomalgds@oauife.edu.ng. This is necessary to receive the screening passcode. The date of the screening exercise will be communicated to candidates via the contact information provided in due course.
