DSUST Admission List for the 2023/2024 Academic Session

The Delta State University of Science and Technology (DSUST), Ozoro, has recently released its admission lists for the upcoming academic session. Candidates who have applied for various first-degree programs can now check their provisional admission status for the 2023/2024 academic session.

Understanding the DSUST Admission List

The DSUST admission list is a compilation of candidates who have been provisionally admitted into the different undergraduate programs offered by the university. The list is released in batches, known as the first, second, and third batches.

How to Check Your Admission Status

There are two methods to check your admission status:

  1. On Campus:
  • Visit the school’s Notice Board, which is located within the DSUST campus in Ozoro.
  1. Online via JAMB Portal:
  • Go to the JAMB admission status checking portal at JAMB eFacility Portal.
  • Log in using your JAMB profile username and password.
  • Scroll down to find the “Check Admission Status” tab.
  • Select your exam year and provide your registration number.
  • After entering the necessary details, click on “Check Admission Status” to view your DSUST admission status.
  • Alternatively, you can choose ‘Access my CAPS’ for admission status and other services related to the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

What if Your Name Isn’t on the List Yet?

If you do not find your name on the admission list, there is no need to worry. The admissions process is still ongoing, and the lists are regularly updated. Keep checking both the JAMB website and the official DSUST website for updates.

Next Steps After Admission

If you have been admitted, congratulations! Here are the next steps you should take:

  1. Accept or Reject Your Admission:
  • Log in to the JAMB CAPS to either accept or reject your admission offer.
  1. Print Your Admission Letter:
  • After accepting your admission, you can print your official JAMB admission letter from the same portal.
  1. Change of Course:
  • If the course offered to you differs from your initial application, apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal.

Remember, it is crucial to complete these steps, as failing to accept your admission on the JAMB CAPS may result in the loss of your placement.
