Registration Details for 2023 NECO SSCE External Examination

Announcement: Registration for the 2023 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External is now open for prospective candidates. Please note that registration can be done both offline and online.

To register, prospective candidates should visit the Council’s website at http://www.neco.gov.ng.

Once there, click on the SSCE External link and follow the instructions to create an account and purchase the registration quota. Afterward, candidates can visit any reputable Cybercafé to complete their biometric registration.

Please ensure that the passport size photograph you provide is not more than six months old and has a white background. If needed, you can use a system camera at the registration point to take your passport size photograph.

During the offline registration process, the biometric fingerprints of each candidate will be captured. We encourage all prospective candidates to complete their registration within the stipulated registration period.
