🏥 Admission into OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC), Ile-Ife, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following Nursing Programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session:

  • National/Higher National Diploma (ND/HND) in Nursing

  • Post Basic Perioperative Nursing


📌 National/Higher National Diploma (ND/HND) in Nursing Admission Requirements

  • Candidates must possess five (5) credits in WAEC (SSCE/GCE), NECO (SSCE/GCE), or NABTEB in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology obtained at not more than two sittings.

  • NABTEB results cannot be combined with any other result.

  • Applicants must be at least 16 years old by January 2025.


📝 Method of Application

  • All applicants must have sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 180.

  • Candidates must have selected OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences, Ife Hospital Unit, Ile-Ife or Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa as their first choice of institution.

  • UTME subject combination must include English Language, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.

  • Successful candidates may be posted to either the Ife Hospital Unit or Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa Campus.


🔍 Post-UTME Screening Exercise 2025/2026

The Post-UTME screening exercise is open to:

  • Candidates who scored at least 180 in UTME and selected OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences, Ile-Ife or Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa as their first choice institution.

  • Candidates willing to change their institution to OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences for the approved programme.

Important Notes:

  • All candidates must upload their O/Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal.

  • Candidates should register online at the institution’s website: www.oauthc.gov.ng

Application Fee:

  • Post-UTME screening fee: ₦2,000.00

  • Portal access fee: ₦13,000.00
    Total payment: ₦15,000.00 payable via Remita to the College’s account.

The portal access fee covers:

  • Registration portal access

  • Checking screening date and venue

  • Admission status verification

  • Admission letter printing


💻 Mode of Screening: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

The CBT will be conducted by the OAUTHC Nursing and Midwifery Entrance Examination Selection Committee.

CBT Dates:

  • Tuesday, 26th August 2025

  • Wednesday, 27th August 2025


📅 Closing Date:

All applications must be submitted on or before Friday, 15th August 2025.
