LASU 2025/2026 Online Admission Screening Exercise for 100 Level and Direct Entry Candidates

Lagos State University (LASU) has launched the online admission screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session, targeting UTME (100 level) and Direct Entry (200 level) candidates. This post-UTME screening is now open for eligible applicants.

Eligibility for Screening

• UTME Candidates: Those who selected LASU as their first choice in the 2025 UTME and scored at least 195 marks, plus being 16 years old by October 1, 2025, can apply.

• Pre-Degree Students: PDS completers aiming for 2025/2026 admission, with LASU as their first UTME choice and a minimum score of 195, are eligible.

• Direct Entry Candidates: Including LASU Foundation (JUPEB) applicants with a JAMB Direct Entry Form, choosing LASU first. Only LASU Diploma or NCE (for Education Faculty) is accepted for DE admission.

• Lagos State Indigenes: Verified candidates via the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC) will have claims validated during screening.

Accredited Courses

Only the following accredited courses are available for the 2025/2026 session. Applicants must meet relevant admission requirements:

• Arts: Arabic, Christian Religious Studies, English, French, History & International Studies, Islamic Studies, Linguistics, Music, Peace Studies, Philosophy, Portuguese/English, Theatre Arts, Yoruba.

• Communication & Media Studies: Mass Communication.

• Education: Various education specializations (e.g., Arabic, Biology, Chemistry, English, etc.).

• Engineering: Aeronautic & Astronautic, Chemical, Civil, Electronics & Computer, Industrial, Mechanical.

• Environmental Sciences: Architecture, Building, Estate Management, Fine Arts, etc.

• Law: Common/Civil Law, Common/Islamic Law.

• Management Sciences: Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, etc.

• Science: Biochemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Microbiology, etc.

• Social Sciences: Economics, Geography & Planning, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology.

• College of Medicine: Dentistry, Medicine & Surgery, Nursing, Pharmacy, etc.

• School of Agriculture: Agricultural Economics, Animal Science, Crop Production.

• School of Library, Archival and Information Science: Library & Information Science.

• School of Transport and Logistics: Transport Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management.

Direct Entry Submission

Direct Entry candidates must submit their screening report and diploma/NCE results at the Admission Annex/Liaison Office (Room 7, Administrative Block II).

Application Method

Online Payment and Registration

1. Visit www.lasu.edu.ng.

2. Navigate to Student > New Applicants > UTME/DE Screening.

3. Log in with UTME Registration Number and Surname.

4. Pay the screening fee online, selecting “Ojo” campus and “Student” category.

5. Return to the dashboard, start screening, and provide transaction ID.

6. Complete the self-screening process, updating details as needed (additional fees may apply).

Self-Screening Form

• Log in with UTME Registration Number, Surname, and Transaction ID.

• Fill in personal details (e.g., name, date of birth, contact info).

• Select course, input UTME subjects, and O’Level results (max two sittings, one for Medicine/Dentistry).

• Upload O’Level results on JAMB CAPS before the deadline.

• Preview and certify details; submission is final.

Screening Period
